Ferdinand: “I heard that a great coach will leave Premier League to manage Real Madrid at the end of the season”

It is rumored that Real Madrid will part with Ancelotti at the end of the season unless he can win the Champions League for the second year in a row, with Los Blancos having a large difference (11 points) behind the leaders of the Spanish League, Barcelona.
Ancelotti has been linked with several other destinations such as the Brazil national team, and if he does leave, Real Madrid will be looking to snap up Arsenal boss Arteta, according to reports.
Arteta has been in charge of Arsenal since 2019, and although he went through a difficult period after winning the FA Cup, he is now beloved by Arsenal fans, as the club is enjoying a great 2022-23 season so far and is top of the Premier League.
Arsenal have just seven games left as they look to claim their first league title in 19 years, but Ferdinand has warned that Arteta already has one eye on Real Madrid.
“They should keep Arteta first and foremost,” Ferdinand said with a smile and a laugh when talking about Arsenal on his podcast.
He added, “I heard something… I heard Real Madrid [are interested] and when they come, your players will be without a coach.”
Meanwhile, former Arsenal player Emmanuel Petit urged Arteta to stay in north London and said it would be a “mistake” if he left for Real Madrid.
“I think it would be a mistake for him to leave Arsenal and go to Madrid now,” Beattie said. It has improved a lot in the past three years. Remember that when he was first hired, the first few months were really tough.
He added, “Arsenal was in the relegation zone and the club gave him time to implement his vision and do exactly what he wanted with the team both individually and collectively, and now we pay tribute to the way Arsenal plays.”
And he ended: “Real Madrid is a huge, huge club, and you need a coach who has already won big titles and can manage his dressing room. There are a lot of great characters, a lot of great players out there. With all due respect to Arsenal, it’s not the same club.
