Ferdinand demands the Chelsea player to take revenge in the 2nd leg: “Vinicius showed you no respect at the Bernabeu”

Real Madrid went halfway to the semi-finals of the Champions League, after defeating Chelsea with two clean goals in the first leg of the quarter-final match that was held last Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It is expected that the winner of the two-legged matches between Real Madrid and Chelsea will face the winner of the matches between Manchester City and Bayern Munich. The first leg ended with a 3-0 victory for Guardiola’s squad at Al-Ittihad Stadium.

In his analysis of the first leg, Manchester United defense legend Rio Ferdinand demanded that the Chelsea player be considered for the return match against Real Madrid, which is scheduled to be held next Tuesday, April 18, at Stamford Bridge in London.

The match witnessed the brilliance of Vinicius Junior, although he did not score any of the two goals of the match, but he overwhelmingly outperformed Chelsea defenders, especially Reece James, the strong right-back of the Blues.

Ferdinand said: “Reece James has never had a tougher match than today. Vinicius showed him no respect. And it won’t be any easier at Stamford Bridge. Reese needs to take this personally to see where he went wrong.”
